Gas Furnaces
We offer a full line of natural gas and propane furnaces from Trane and Daikin in a variety of efficiencies from 80% up to 97%. The highest efficiency models enable up to 97% of the fuel you pay for to be converted directly into usable heat for your home. Many of these models offer communicating capabilities that allow you to control the temperature of your home from a mobile device. Additionally, you have the option to add a heat pump or air conditioner to these units for added comfort in warm weather.
Features:
Air Handlers / Electric Furnaces
An air handler is an indoor unit composed of a high efficiency coil, blower fan, and motor working together to provide you with warm air throughout your home. When paired with a heat pump, they can also circulate cool air in the summer. We offer a full line of Trane and Daikin models to best suit your needs. We also offer several electric furnaces which are very similar to air handlers, just without the coil.
Features
Reliability
A heat pump works to heat and cool your home by constantly transferring warm and cool air where it is needed or not needed. Because these units transfer air rather than generating it, they can offer high efficiencies. Air conditioners word in a similar fashion but without the heating capabilities. Both heat pumps and air conditioners can be added to gas furnace systems for increased performance. We offer both Trane and Daikin units.
Features:
Ductless
A ductless heat pump is a highly efficient zonal heating and cooling system that does not require the use of air ducts. They consist of an outdoor compressor unit and one or more indoor air-handling units, called heads. Indoor heads are typically mounted high on a wall or ceiling covering a 3" hole where the refrigerant line passes through to the outside unit, which is mounted at the base of the house. Each indoor head corresponds with a heating and cooling zone that can be controlled independently. These systems are perfect for replacing old, inefficient baseboard or cadet heating. They offer exceptional energy savings and may qualify for incentives through Energy Trust of Oregon and Oregon Department of Energy. Features:
In-Floor Heating
Believe it or not, radiant floors are one of the oldest forms of heating a structure — dating all the way back to Roman times. Radiant floor heat provides numerous benefits, including increased comfort, even temperatures, cleaner air, no cold drafts, no unsightly ductwork and no floor vents, all while being quieter and more energy-efficient compared to forced-air heat. In a radiant floor heating system, warm water flows through tubes located underneath the floors. That warmth radiates up from the floors and warms everything it comes in contact with. Radiant heating is compatible under any type of floor covering — carpet, wood, slate, tile, linoleum, and even concrete — making design possibilities endless. Geothermal systems use the constant temperature of the earth as the exchange medium to control the temperature in your home. Geothermal heat pumps are environmentally friendly and highly efficient because they emit no carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, or other green house gases. Most systems qualify for incentives through Energy Trust of Oregon and Oregon Department of Energy. With no flame, no flue, no odors, and no danger of fire or carbon monoxide, these systems are very safe. They also use filters to remove dust and pollens and improve indoor air quality. Not only will they heat and cool your home, they can also provide hot water – all from the same compact unit. Talk to one of our sales professionals to find out more about geothermal systems.
