Lifebreath Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV)

A heat recovery ventilator is integrated into the duct work in a home, usually located near the furnace. The HRV expels stale indoor air to the outside, and draws in fresh air from outside to be distributed throughout the home. In the winter, cold air is expelled from your home and warm air is delivered. In the summer, the HRV works in reverse. Warm air is expelled and cool air is delivered throughout the home.

Lifebreath Energy Recovery Ventilator

An energy recovery ventilator works in much the same way as an HRV to recover heat in the home. The ERV however, also recuperates the energy trapped in humidity, which greatly improves the overall recovery efficiency in your home. In conditioned homes, when it is more humid outside than inside, the ERV limits the amount of humidity coming into your home.
